Meet the team: Salvadore

I’m a Civil Program Manager at Garden Grove site and I joined GKN Aerospace 13 years ago. I’ve worked in various roles over the years and currently I manage customer accounts that purchase cabin windows.

Something you may not know about me is I’m an engineer by trade. I like to tinker with things and solve problems and I thoroughly enjoy the technical side of my job.

Every day I get to see a sea of canopies and to know that I’m a part of a unique product being built at this facility and only we produce it. That’s really breath taking!

I’ve had many opportunities to travel the world and I’ve fostered lifelong relationships. I leverage on those today to make things happen. We’re like a global family – we can lean on each other.

The F35 canopy is an outstanding piece of hardware from a technology standpoint. Every day I get to see a sea of canopies and to know that I’m a part of a unique product being built at this facility and only we produce it. That’s really breath taking!

Environmental sustainability is a big part of my job. It’s key in my decision-making processes from the initial stage of product development to final stage of finished goods. Everyone has a responsibility towards our planet. So, the smallest change makes a big impact.

My career aspirations for the future depend on what I want to do and GKN Aerospace provide training and development. Our Career opportunities are endless.
